A lot of children come to school with a lot of hurt, frustration and anger.
They may not live with their parents, they may have had traumatic experiences growing up, or they may not have a strong attachment to their parents. So as they come to school some students may be carrying a lot of baggage.
So while it's ok to feel angry, we need to teach students how to manage their anger appropriately.
Use our behaviour management meltdown cards to fit in to this chart and have conversations with students about appropriate behaviour when they feel angry.
