Description

Need an engaging, zero prep 8th grade Math Angle-Angle Similarity video tutorial with a corresponding worksheet going over angle-angle similarity? The video explains using angles to determine similarity. When angles are equal, we can use proportions to solve for missing side lengths. I include a real world example of finding the height of a tall object. This is aligned with Bluebonnet Learning Module 1, Topic 3. Key included for easy grading. Resource includes an option with a QR code to the video or without, right on the page.

Here is what's included:

✅ Worksheet to match the video (optional QR code)

✅ Answer Key

This is PERFECT for:

*Curriculum Support

*Substitute days

*Absent students

*Flipped classroom

*Homeschool

*Quiz/Test Review

*Small Group Rotation

This is a no prep resource ready to go while students follow along as they watch the video and learn. Use the included Key to quickly check the students work. You can even assign it for homework and add your own practice problems/assignment to the back of the page.

Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
