Use these 7 angle centers to give your students practice measuring angles and learning about types of angle relationships.
I created the activity as remediation for my 8th graders who needed to brush up on types of angles. Through the self-guided centers/handouts, students measure angles and answer questions. They will get review (or new learning!) about complementary, supplementary, vertical, and reflex angles.
The activity exposes students to properties of parallel lines with transversals through inquiry but does not go into the vocabulary. I use this activity before I teach the terms.
You will receive PDFs of the 7 student handouts that can be used in partners, in centers, for remediation, or for review. They are meant to be used with protractors. Printing full size works best, but doubling 2 handouts per sheet can work too. Answer keys are included.
