### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I use this worksheet in my Geometry classes to replace a lecture: I start of class with a 15-minute mini-lesson that gives them the basics: definitions of complementary angles and supplementary angles, writing equations to represent them, supplements, complements, mnemonic devices to help them remember them, adjacent angles, acute, right, obtuse, straight, and reflex angles, definitions of equilateral, equiangular, and regular polygons, and transformations.

Then, I have them get to work on this worksheet, which basically holds their hands through these ideas.

I use this activity within cooperative groups, and I circulate to make sure they are getting the purpose of the questions.

The file includes spiral review problems.

This worksheet is intended to be written on directly.

Please download the pdf preview file first, so you can see exactly what's included; the product file is a word document, which you may personalize for your students.

Immediately before this worksheet, I use the worksheet named 'Discovering the Slope Formula for Geometry Fall 2013' (http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Discovering-the-Slope-Formula-for-Geometry-Fall-2013-1070732), and immediately after this worksheet, I use the assessment named 'Geometry Quiz Introductory Material Fall 2013' (http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Geometry-Quiz-Introductory-Material-Fall-2013-two-versions-two-pages-each-1269925)
