In this lesson, students will learn the vocabulary and theorems for angle pair relationships (vertical angles and linear pair). Then, they will practice the new theorems in geometric proofs.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up is a review of properties from segment and angle proofs.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout.
• Extra Proofs Practice Worksheet -
A 2 page practice worksheet is included. Students often struggle with proofs in the beginning. This 2 page worksheet could be used to extend this lesson over two days.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
Make sure this lesson is appropriate for your students - see the preview to see some of the pages in the product.
