Aligned to TEKS 7.13b and Common Core State Standards 4.G.2 .
In this lesson students will be introduced the definition, characteristics and examples of each type of angle relationship (perpendicular, parallel, adjacent, corresponding, and vertical). In the Flippable they will complete each section with the term and then draw a picture and describe different instances where they would see them.
This Flippable is perfect to be used as a mini lesson in an Interactive Notebook. Once completed it can be followed up with the included Angles Exit Ticket where students will apply the knowledge they have learned about angle relationships to create a robot within given characteristics and label correctly as well demonstrate where they feel their level of mastery is on the topic on a stop light.
An example on how this was used in an Interactive Notebook can be seen in this blog post.
