Product Description
Use these stations to practice angle relationships: complementary angles, supplementary angles and vertical angles. This resource contains seven stations to practice a variety of skills involving angle relationships.
Station 1 is a card sort. Students match angles to form complementary and supplementary angles.
Station 2 is a card sort. Students must look at a diagram and sort cards into the correct category (such as complementary or supplementary).
Station 3 has students answering questions about complements and supplements, and using manipulatives to create different angle relationships. (Note: Manipulatives for this activity just need to be something straight for students to model the angles...straws, toothpicks, pipe cleaners, etc…)
Station 4 and 5 are “codebreaker” activities. Students must solve one and two step equations involving complementary and supplementary angles. Students use the answers to find the “codes”.
Station 6 has students solve equations involving vertical angles.
Station 7 is a puzzle where students will use information about all angle relationships to place the number tiles.
