Angles & Mini Golf: Project Based Activity is a fun way to help students practice identifying types of angles and measuring angles. The activity is divided into three parts and can easily be completed during class or as a take-home assignment.

+ Part 1: Design the Course- For the first part of the project, students design a four-hole mini golf course. For each hole, students are given requirements such as the number of angles around the hole and the number of obstacles to include.
+Part 2: Measure the Course- During the second part of the project, students identify the types of angles around each hole and use a protractor to measure the angles. Protractors are not included with this resource.
+Part 3: Play the Course- For the final part of the project, students determine the par for each hole. To do this, students must determine how to get the ball into each hole using as few strokes as possible. Students must draw the path of the ball to the hole and determine what angles are created by the path of the ball. Critical thinking questions are included at the end of the activity.

Students will have a blast learning about angles as they create their own mini golf course!
