Included in this package is a set of guided notes and answer key for lessons on measures of angles as a part of an introductory unit in Geometry. Students will learn measuring angles with protractors, the Angle Addition Postulate, introduction to two column proofs involving angles, angle bisectors, vertical angles, linear pairs, and complementary/supplementary angles.
The package includes a PDF and editable .docx version of the note packet as well as a complete answer key. Included in each lesson are "You Try!" questions to be used for formative assessment. I typically go around the room and put a stamp or sticker on each student's paper when they correctly answer the question. At the end of the packet is learning target checklist where students can rate themselves each day on their progress toward mastery of the objectives.
