Do you need an activity that will help your students identify angles drawn in standard position? This resource will have your students matching angle measures to illustrations of angles in the coordinate plane – a fun and engaging way to master this skill!
More specifically, there are 8 total questions and each question requires that students match 4 different angle measures to 4 angles drawn in standard position (scissors and glue required). A detailed description of the types of angles included in this activity is found below.
• The majority of angles in this activity are common angles (multiples of 30 or 45 degrees); quadrantal angles are included
• A handful of non-common angles are also included
• Angles that are more than one revolution in the plane are also included
Please Note: All angle measures in this resource are given in degrees only.
This resource comes with a 2 page student activity sheet, 1 page of angle matching cards, and an answer key! Check out the preview to see an up-close look at this amazing classroom resource!
