Who doesn't love angry birds? In this fun game is played with a partner. Each student takes a turn solving a problem and telling the other person their answer (the questions on one gameboard match the answers on the other gameboard). The answer either "hits a pig", is a "miss", or is not on the gamebaord (meaning they need to re-do the problem more carefully- they made a mistake). The first person to knock out all the other person's pigs wins!!
9/12/14~ I just played this game again today with my 6th graders. I was a little nervous thinking that Angry Birds aren't as popular as they were a few years ago; that the kids wouldn't love the game...I was SOOO wrong. The students were so excited and had so much fun. I have one very shy kid who is what I call a "reluctant learner," even he lifted his head off the desk, found a partner, and joined the game. Angry Birds are still a huge success with the kids.
