Do you need a new activity to add to your file on animal adaptations? Try this one that I created and used with my 3rd graders. It has a brief reading selection describing how animals use camouflage and movements as adaptations. The students will then apply what they learned in the reading by labeling the adaptations of different animals. This could easily be used as a homework activity or an in class review. The possibilities are endless!
Please Note: My worksheets are marked with 'Assignment Number' in the top right-hand corner. This was part of the tracking system I developed and used with my middle school and 3rd grade students to help them keep track of their assignments. See 'Binder Table of Contents' for other files and for more information on how this system worked.
