I used this in my class as a science activity after the study of animal adaptations. The students were given informational books with pictures and information about the animals and their habitats for assistance.
The prompts are silly, and obviously could not happen, but it helps the students to think about how adaptations help animals survive in their habitats & how they might have to change if forced to live in a completely different habitat.
There are 3 animal suggestions and each animal has a scaffolded sheet, and a non-scaffolded sheet.
I teach a 4th grade, self- contained, 12:1 class.
There is a rubric attached.
