Product Description
This 48 piece set focuses on the ways that animals adapt physically to their arctic, desert and jungle habitats. Also included are 2 examples of behavioral adaptation. Each illustration has 2 versions - unlabeled and labeled, with the labeled version explaining how each region's wildlife has adapted to its specific environment.

The set includes 24 PNG color illustrations and 24 PNG blackline / grayscale versions. These are high resolution (300 dpi) transparent background graphics. No watermarks will appear on the files that you download.

The clip art illustrations measure approximately 6 inches to preserve image quality when re-sizing. Included are the following in labeled and unlabeled versions:

Arctic

● Moose (large feet and long legs help with travel through deep snow)
● Musk Ox (thick coat helps protect against arctic wind and cold)
● Polar Bear (coat blends with arctic environment, body fat layer for cold protection)
● Ptarmigan (feathers change color from summer to winter for camouflage)

Desert

● Camel (wide feet for walking on sand, hump stores fat for energy)
● Fennec Fox (large ears for dissipating heat, coat blends into desert habitat)
● Gila Monster (tail stores fat for energy, skin blends into environment)

Jungle

● Jaguar (spotted coat blends into light and shade of jungle habitat)
● Poison Dart Frog (bright colors advertise toxins, help deter predators)
● Walking Stick Bug (camouflaged as twig)

Behavioral Adaptations

● Canada Geese (some populations fly south during winter to areas with more food)
● Sea Otter (some use rocks to crack hard prey such as clams and mussels)
