Teachers Are Terrific

What educators are saying

This was a little difficult for my grade 2 ESL learners but they still loved it. The resources were so detailed!
This was perfect for my students who were learning about animal adaptations. Very informative and interactive. Very easy to use... Print and go! Thank you!

What kinds of adaptations do snakes have? Did you know that there is a snake that will play dead to confuse its prey? This package is a TERRIFIC resource for reading informational text, writing about reading, adding details to writing, vocabulary studying, using non-fiction text features, hands-on cutting and gluing, and more!

Students read about an animal adaptation topic, write about it, complete a text feature related activity, use a table of contents and glossary, and add to their work with decorations and illustrations. In the end they have an Animal Adaptations Booklet! Best of all, they will have practiced using non-fiction text features in an authentic, fun format!

This set is not meant to be a comprehensive animal adaptation study- it’s a reading/writing unit to enhance your study of this topic and provide cross-curricular work to best use your precious classroom time.
