This resource guides students through conducting a research report on a particular animal's structural and behavioural adaptations. Students are asked to choose an animal that they would like to research. They are then asked to research the structural and behavioural adaptations of their animal by using the Internet and books (a section for note-taking is included). Next, students share what they learned by creating a poster board presentation while following criteria. Finally, students present their completed projects to their classmates.
Can be done in partners. An Evaluation Form is included. The kids really enjoyed studying their favourite animal!
