Students loved participating in this activity - many said it was their favorite activity all year.
Includes a model station which is done first as a whole class in order to better prepare students to think through the stations as small groups. Students move from station to station until they have filled in their lab reports on all 4 stations. This lesson is problem-based inquiry in that it is patterned after what happens in medical or college-level biology classes during a lab practical. Students see different specimens of animals and must reason among themselves about various adaptations.
