Print the Animal Adaptations and Behaviors Scavenger Hunt cards and cut them apart.
Make copies of the Animal Adaptations and Behaviors questions sheet. Each student will need a copy.
Find a place where you can post the cards so students will be able to find them. (I use our Multi-Purpose Room).
Students have to search the room and find all of the information cards to answer the questions. This could be used as a review with a partner or as an assessment independently.
When finished, I have the class line up on both sides of the basketball goal and ask questions from the lesson. If they get the question right, they get to shoot the basket and make extra points on their assessment. The students really like this way of learning or reviewing.
