This worksheet requires students to use reasoning to decide what each animal behavior could be communicating.
The students is given 20 scenarios and 8 possible animal behaviors.
Example scenario: A bird chirping --- that animal behavior could be 1. Communication, 2. Territorial, or 3. Finding a mate.
Each student will use their own reasoning as to what each scenario means.
To add an extra element with this worksheet, you could pair up the students and make them explain to their partner why they chose that certain behavior. It give the students to vocalize their reasoning and logic behind their answer.
This could also be part of a science station where they would already be in pairs and would have to discuss and come up with an answer together about each scenario.
