Animal Buddies worksheets are a fun and engaging alternative to clock buddies.
This activity helps students get into groups of two or more quickly and easily. Students make appointments with each other by filling out the outer circle or square with their partners name near the chosen animal. When students need to group up, simply ask students to get with their animal buddy. For instance, you may ask them to get with their “tiger” buddy. They will quickly look at their sheets, get with their partner, and get to work!
++Great for making quick and easy partnerships.
++Animal Buddies is an easy way to showcase your use of cooperative work and diverse groupings, such as same or mixed-gender and heterogeneous/homogeneous groupings.
++Students get to work with each one of their classmates throughout the term (in some cases, unlike the smaller clock worksheets).
++Great for science or any class.
++Adding in additional information about each type of animal as you select buddies is a plus. Allows for additional wildlife studies to complement your classes.
