Animal Buddies worksheets are an engaging addition or alternative to clock buddies.
This activity helps students get into groups of two or more quickly and easily. Students make appointments with each other by filling out the outer circle or square with their partners name near the chosen animal. When students need to group up, simply ask students to get with their animal buddy. For instance, you may ask them to get with their “tiger” buddy. They will quickly look at their sheets, get with their partner(s), and get to work.
Animal Buddies is an easy way to showcase your use of cooperative work and diverse groupings, such as mixed-gender and heterogeneous groupings.
