This book contains a variety of activities. The focus is on the components of animal cells and their functions. Instructions are provided for making a cell model using crafts, food, or by drawing. It also includes a 17-page reader, flashcards, a memory game, and a variety of worksheets.
Students will learn the basic functions of the nucleolus, nucleus, DNA, ribosomes, lysosomes, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, vesicles, cell membrane, food vacuole, endoplasmic reticulum (ER), Golgi complex, and mitochondria.
