Get your students up and moving with this engaging animal characteristics review game. “2 Corners” is an adaptation of the game of Four Corners. I used two corners with my students in order to more focus our review. When reviewing characteristics of mammals, one corner of the classroom was designated for mammals, and another for non-mammals. Choose which characteristics and animal cards you wish to use to review and shuffle them together. Students randomly select a card that contains either the name of an animal, or a specific animal group characteristic. After all students have selected a corner, students discuss as a group what was on their card and how it fit in the category they selected. This can easily be used in additional ways (Four corners for a broader range of review, matching activities, etc. I also included an additional word search that I created and used with my class.
I hope that your students enjoy this engaging activity as much as mine did! =) My class still begs to play it!
This is for single classroom use only. Thank you!
