Making a class book about animals is so much fun. Each student creates a page, then they are compiled into a book with a title page and an end page. I've seen these books put into three ring binders and that's a great idea too! Then each student can have the book to read for one day or take home overnight if s/he is a responsible student.
Students can research an animal by any means you choose - digital, books, or a combination of those two. I made this resource for digital applications but there really are so many ways you can change it to make it meet the needs of your students.
*The Google slides graphic organizer has text boxes(made with the TABLE function in Google Slides) that are outlined in green. There is an "x" to let the students know that this is where they will type. You will need to teach them how to delete the "x" and then type their own words. Also, you can show your students how to delete the green border once they are finished typing in their information.*
