This activity pack supports the Animal Digestion Activity Pack. It can be used with the Activity Pack or by itself.
At the completion of this unit, students will be able to determine why monogastric and ruminant digestive systems are important for each separate animal. Students will learn to identify the function and location of each part of the digestive system through hands on activities, quizzes, and group interaction.
The instruction can be modified to fit your own classroom needs.
1. Identify the differences between monogastric and ruminant digestive systems
2. Label and describe the locations and functions of the various parts of each system
3. Explain and demonstrate the importance of each digestive system.
