PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a very fun activity! Students work in groups to pick up beans thrown in grass. Each group uses a different "beak" (forceps, chopsticks, etc.) to represent variations in species. The group with the least beans loses a member and the group with the most gains a member. This activity pairs well with discussions of Evolution, Darwin, Galapagos Islands, and the finches of the islands. Students learn about natural selection through this fun simulation.
