This is a fun, physical activity using the voice. It could be used as an icebreaker, brain break or warm up activity. Kids are given an animal card and think of an appropriate sound for their animal. On a given signal they move about the room making their sounds and attempting to find the rest of their animal families. The game helps kids to listen to each other and experiment with their voices and encourages co-operation and teamwork. The resource includes: instructions on how to play the game including a variation and a couple of extension ideas and a sheet of printable animal cards which can be photocopied and laminated.
