For many years I have shown the 1999 film, “Animal Farm,” to my Political Science class. Therefore, in order to have both a worthwhile discussion as well as a successful lesson, I created these guided viewing questions as well as well as additional summary of the movie to assist students in better understanding both the subject matter as well as the greater symbolic undertones. By breaking the movie into six parts and creating both summaries for each section as well as complementary questions, my students have previously gained both a better understanding of the material as well as a greater background in the content area. I have therefore consistently successfully used these questions year after year in my classroom and stand by them 100%. As with all my products, each lesson material that I post on Teacher Pay Teachers is an actual curriculum product that I have both created and successfully use myself. I thank you for taking the time to look at my materials.
