Foreign language (or kindergarten-level English) or beginning ESOL:
Flash cards with multiple pictures of the same sort of animal on the same card. The idea is for the student to practice the plural form of the animal name as well as counting in the target language.
There are six cards per page. They will need to be printed on card-stock and cut with a paper cutter. There are seven pages of cards.
Some of the animals are relatively common (dogs, cats, pigs) and some are not so common (kangaroo, walrus, koala).
These color images are MS office clip art and should be in the public domain and/or available for fair use. I do not own the images, I am simply providing the formatting for use in your classroom.
This was created in Microsoft Publisher.
Note: I designed these for use in my German class (many are cognates) but they would work for any foreign language or ESOL / ELL environment.
