This project based learning activity is perfect for studying animal adaptations and animal habitats in science. students choose a small plastic animal and construct a paper habitat box that meets all of the animal's survival needs. Students then fill out an animal information page complete with physical adaptations, behavioral adaptations, and a description of the animal's habitat. These look great hanging in the hallway and your students will absolutely love making them! This download includes: teacher directions, student directions with color photographs, a template for making the habitat box, and the blank animal information page.
