Description

This is an interactive (drag and drop) animal habitats activity that uses Google Slides and is Google Classroom ready! Perfect for kindergarten, first grade and second grade. It can be used as an interactive whiteboard activity or assigned on digital devices for older students.

Here's what's included:

  • 7 interactive, drag and drop slides where students decide which of the 5 creatures live in the habitat shown. They move the creatures into their home! Habitats included: jungle, forest, garden, Arctic, snowy mountains, desert, and the ocean.

  • 2 assessment slides where students are asked to name/draw/or paste a picture of their favorite animal and its habitat

  • an extension activity: students are asked to search online and find pictures of animals to paste into the habitats. This activity is great for differentiation or additional review at a later date!

  • a teacher key and tips sheet
