Animal Habitats Unit:

Do you need to teach your students about Animal Habitats? This resource will make your life so much easier with Digital slides you can use to supplement your instruction! The slides are rich with information and real photographs of animals from each habitat.
It includes an introductory presentation to explain the different habitats to your students so you can lead them in a whole-class lesson / discussion about the habitats. Just project the file onto your smartboard / screen and advance through the slideshow at your own pace. This has been recently updated to be used in Google Slides, so you can easily use it for your class if you are teaching virtually or in the classroom.

The habitats included in this resource are:

  • Polar
  • Desert
  • Wetland
  • Savanna
  • Woodland
  • Rainforest
  • Ocean
  • Coral Reef

This unit also includes printable pages to go along with the presentation pages. Each habitat includes a word search and a non-fiction passage with comprehension questions. A Habitat Fact Sheet is also included as a graphic organizer for students to write down what they learned about each habitat.

Also included in this resource is a header for a bulletin board display, as well as habitat photo cards. These can be printed and laminated for durability, then used in a pocket chart or classroom display.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suzie R. says, "This resource is amazing!! I was looking for something to add to my Science unit and this was the perfect item. The kids were so engaged from the start, they loved our Science class. I also used this with our Language unit so it was the perfect blend. Thank you for this!!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mrs. C's Creative says, "Thanks a mil! My students are on the Autism spectrum so it's tricky to find resources that are intellectually appropriate while also being engaging and age appropriate too. This is fun for them while also benefitting them academically!"
