Product Description
Geared toward the new 2015 English Curriculum (UK), this is the first of a set of two lessons on embedding descriptive writing techniques and SPaG for AQA Language Paper - Section B. This lesson is compiled to Ofsted Standard for formal observation with AfL plus Bronze, Silver and Gold level differentiation tasks slide. Students plan and write a story around the theme of keeping wild animals as pets and how this could go horribly wrong! As well as descriptive writing skills, emphasis is also on structure and checking good use of SPaG through peer assessment.
Note: the structure mountain worksheet is added at the end of the power point to be used for copying. Also, the background is actually watermarked on the lesson slides and appears very lightly in the background - for some reason, it looks full colour thus hiding the writing.
