Included in this 50 page set are materials for math and research stations for students to measure themselves in comparison to an animal. While all animals grow to be within a range of sizes, one size has been chosen as definitive to give students the comparison opportunity. A note taking research guide based on the Super 3 Research Model is included. This station was created for a library setting, but makes a great math center for primary classrooms. Animals included are from each continent and the ocean: emperor penguin, grizzly bear, giraffe, kangaroo, humpback whale, marine iguana, Noctule bat, and Siberian tiger.
