These QR Code worksheet incorporates 4 of the weeks spelling words for the weeks story and the short sentence and figure out the word that goes in the blank. When finished there is a self-checking qr code.
This activity requires having a device (ipod, ipad, etc) with a code scanner (free in the app store).
When the qr code is scanned, the letters are large for the little eyes to see.
When I used it in class, my students had two paint chips or two small pieces of paper to cover the qr code on either side of the one that they were trying to scan. They would then scan and record on the separate recording sheet. When they were done scanning, they were to check that it was a word that they recognized, otherwise they needed to go back and rescan. Once they were confident in their answers they scan the qr code on the front of their recording sheet for the answers.
Check out the QR Alphabet that I created. This is a .ttf file that can be used in programs such as Microsoft word, publisher, and excel. To create files such as this.

Thank you so much for checking out this file. I would greatly appreciate any and all feed-back. My students loved it and I hope yours will too!
