Twenty three years ago a friend gave me idea of a sandwich book report. For years we have been improvising the ingredients with basic shapes. Now with Krista Wallden's fabulous graphics, the sandwiches look way better!
The no prep format is super easy to prepare. Just print onto colored construction paper and you are ready to go.
My students loved this sandwich book report craftivity! They simply research an animal, then completed the ingredients (pages) for a fun easy report. Each layer of the sandwich is part of the report. When finished they simply cut and staple the layers to make a sandwich.
You can pick and choose which layers the students complete. More advanced students complete all the layers. Struggling students may only complete a portion of the layers. You pick!
This can be completed in class or sent home as a homework project. The instructions are on each page for students/ parents.
There is even a rubric included for your convenience!
