I'm a speech pathologist, and this activity is an Animal Riddle Bingo and Animal Riddle book. In both, students hear or read riddles, and guess the animal based on three features. At the end of the book is a short writing activity which can be differentiated to dictation to the adult for creating their own riddle. I have used this with my language impaired children and children with autism.
The game consists of three bingo boards of 16 pictures each of animals, and the calling cards are 'What am I?' riddles. There is also the 11 page riddle book. All are in a .pdf format. Suggestions for differentiation are included. It's a great game and great short book and kids love it! It's nice if you want children to identify animals given three features. It fits nicely in with the verbal behavior therapy model of therapy.
