Learning speech sounds can be especially tough for young learners!
These colorful and engaging Animal Speech Sound Prompts are the perfect addition to your therapy resources as a fun way to encourage your little articulation kids to say and remember their sounds.
There are two sides to the animal - one side gives a prompt about what the child has to do with their articulators (e.g. 'stick your tongue between your teeth and blow 'th') while the other side gives a concise verbal prompt that you can use throughout therapy (e.g. 'cooling polar bear sound 'th'). Together, they provide a simple and easy understand way for children to develop their speech sounds.
The best way to use these are to laminate them and stick them on craft sticks so that you have a front-to-back animal speech prompts.
Flashcards are also included for the purposes of stimulability testing and even auditory discrimination - or you may use these as special sound reminders for your students.
• 22 different animal mouths (doubled - so really 44 in total as one mouth has a short prompt, one mouth has a long prompt)
• All main sounds are included
• Color and black and white copies provided
• 22 animal mouth flashcards
