Looking for an activity for your students to practice collaboration, communication and listening skills - while learning tons of interesting animal facts? This powerpoint game includes almost 70 interesting facts about 23 animals.
How To Play:
Students can play individually or on a team. Each animal will be presented one fact at a time (total of 3). On a team's turn they can guess or ask for another fact. If they guess incorrect I typically move to the next team and give them a chance to "steal" the points. Every time another fact is presented then the team receives one point less if they guess correct (i.e. 1 fact = 3 pts, 2 facts = 2 pts, 3 facts = 1 pt.). The bonus round is comprised of single facts from each animal in the game.
Previews represent the final transition of each slide. After the three facts are shown, a picture of the animal is presented and then the name is finally revealed.
