These interactive lessons are great to review animal and plant cell parts: cell wall, cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, cytoplasm, and chloroplast. Using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or Google Classroom will allow students to move the pictures to the appropriate columns on the chart. These lessons can also be used as a note taking sheet when doing research on cell parts and functions.
Lesson one requires students to identify the size and shape of each type of cell. Students then move the cell parts to the "plant", "animal", or "both" column.
Lesson two has students reviewing where each cell part is found and typing in the function of the cell organelle. Students then compare the cell parts to human body parts.
Finished assignments can be printed out or turned in digitally to the teacher or librarian. Please note the answer keys are pdf images and the actual blank lesson sheets are word documents to edit as needed.
