The Animal Memory Card Game is a fun way for students to practice memory skills and to become more familiar with the names and appearance of 48 different animals from seven continents. There are three sets with each set having 16 animals.
For each Memory Game, print two sets of cards.
Rules are the same for all three sets of Animals Memory Card Game:
Use two or three players
Place all thirty-two cards face down in four rows of eight cards.
The first person turns over two animal cards.
If the cards are a match, the player keeps the cards as a matched set and then turns over two more cards.
The player turn continues as long as that player keeps making match sets.
If the cards are not a match that player turn is over, and the cards are turned face down in the same place where they were on the board.
The next player turns over two cards to make a matching set.
If the cards are a match, the player keeps the cards as a matched set.
If the cards are not a match, that players turn is over, and the cards are turned face down in the same place where they were on the board.
Game continues until all animal cards are match.
The player with the most matched sets is the winner.
For the new game, mix up cards and place face down in four rows of eight.
As an alternative, try Animal Memory Game set two or set three.
All the cards are available in black and white.
