-This rubric provides students with information on how to write in their journal and how it will be graded.

Graphic Organizers and Worksheets
-1 Page organizer comparing and contrasting Anne’s relationship with her mother while in the annex with a relationship the student has with his/her guardian
-1 Page organizer comparing and contrasting Jim Crow Laws with Nuremburg Laws
-1 Page organizer with three blank diagrams allow students to draw the annex just like Anne did.
-1 Page character analysis resulting in students determining if the character is static or dynamic.
-1 Page Ticket out the door activity for students to cite textual evidence
-1 Page project for students to create an Epitaph in memory of a character from the story.
-1 Page using quotes from the text to determine their feelings about things Anne says
