While conferring with students about their Reading, Writing and Math, having one place to record both strengths and necessary teaching points is important.
Use this template to track student learning, goals, and areas of focus.
Refer back to notes for parent conferences, report cards, student needs' meetings and progress montioring!
Keep each students' notes together.
I like to keep these in a binder separated by subject and student. Each time I meet with the student, I record the date on the left-hand side. Then, I mark areas of focus after they have been taught in small group or as a mini-lesson.
I love that this template keeps me organized and helps me see patterns to develop mini-lessons.
