Writing annotated bibliographies should not make you want to pull your hair out! At least this is what I tell my students!
This lesson features a 14 slide PowerPoint which will demonstrate for students how to write an annotated bibliography.
An example is provided for students to give a visual of how an annotated bibliography should look.
Lastly, the teacher has two options. Students can work individually to begin working on their own annotated bibliographies for their research paper or there an activity is provided so students can practice writing annotations.
Students can also showcase answers so the class as a whole can have a visual of multiple examples.
The teacher can then critique their examples in front of the class so students will learn from their and others’ mistakes.
This lesson is designed for eleventh graders for my English III class as a part of a unit for the research paper.
This product is also included in The Research Paper Common Core Aligned Curriculum Unit. To purchase for $15.99 CLICK HERE!
