Product Description
Annotation is an integral part of close reading. These are the symbols the staff at my school agreed upon. I created simple posters for classroom display.
There are 3 sets: The first set is full page. Then there are two sets that are half page, to save precious wall space. One set it horizontal and the other set is vertical half sheets. I started the year off with the full page. Now that my second graders are comfortable with the symbols, I have moved on to the half sheets as a reference.
These posters are made with basic, easy-to-read Century Gothic font. I will be making a cuter version for those who prefer something a little more fun and colorful for their walls!
