In order to allow students to dig deeper into essential and tested AP GoPo curriculum, I have students complete 1 research-driven project, per marking period. The topics are outlined for each project and there due dates are timed to coincide with topic I am teaching at that time. This is my annual (or year long) project sheet.
The significance of this project sheet is that it allows students the freedom to research essential topics that appear regularly on the AP Comparative Politics Exam, while presenting them with various format options (presentations, video, newsletter, etc). Each topic has a specific over-arching theme and several options for sub-themes. Each format has specific guidelines and requirements.
A grading rubric is also included for student understanding of expectations and grading purposes.
This project sheet is designed for a four quarters, 9 week marking period system. If you are a six weeks system, please see my other version of this project sheet.
