This is another activity in the Answering Questions series. This is called Answering Questions: Yes or No. These task cards are intended for English Language Learners to build their vocabulary and oral language skills by answering yes or no questions. This activity has been modified from a lesson on the website www.allthingsgrammar.com. I intend to make more packets related to this on different topics such as food, vehicles, animals, etc. This packet contains different leveled prompts for answering the questions in the packet. The first level contains just the question cards and may be used with beginning English speakers to answer simply "yes or no" or with very advanced ones to answer how they see fit. The next level can be used with more advanced English speakers and gives a prompt of "Yes, I" or "No, I" to help students no what to answer. The last level gives the speaker a complete prompt to use when answering.
This packet is suitable for use with anyone learning English. It is ready to print and be used in the classroom.
The skills developed by using the worksheets are speaking, listening, and writing. Students using these task cards will also have to know pronouns.
Pictures have been used so that items are easily identified.
Please go to your 'My Purchases' page (you may need to login again). Beside each purchase, you'll see a Provide Feedback button which you should click. This will take you to a page where you can give a rating and leave a short comment about the product. Your feedback is very important to me because it lets me see which products are most useful for your students. This also helps me to decide if alterations should be made and which new resources I should be producing.
Thank you for looking and I appreciate all feedback.
