Ant Antonym Antics 2 contains 144 antonyms (or 72 pairs). You could choose to have students use all 144 cards at a time, or you could divide this set into smaller sets (for example, 24 cards/12 pairs a set, giving you 6 different sets!) that are just right for your classroom.
Students match the words to make pairs of antonyms. An answer key of all the word pairs is included, making the matching activity self correcting. When students are done, they can also complete the worksheet for individual assessment.
These cards could also be used to play Memory or Go Fish.
This activity is great for centers, RtI, and small groups. It would tie in great with spring and summer themes!
I chose words that 3rd - 5th graders+ would be able to read and know for this set, with a small stretch. For easier words, please see my first set of Ant Antics
Thank you for looking! :)
