Booklet prints double sided for easy prep. Just print, fold, and done! Each page of the journal is a half sheet of an 8.5x11 paper.
NOTE: This does not include care or set-up instructions for an ant farm, but is intended to complement the ant farm you use.
Be sure to review the above photos to ensure the illustrations (using a rectangular ant farm) will correspond with the type of ant farm you use.
Also note: If using this journal with Pre-K students, it will work best in small groups of 4-5 at a time. Not all of the drawings will look perfect, but they will be meaningful to the child and will guide your Pre-K students toward developing their observational recording skills. Best of all, students can easily share their learning excitement with their families when they take their completed journals home!
