This activity is a set of six discussion questions for Borden Deal's short story "Antaeus." The questions can be completed by individual students or may be used as the basis for a class discussion or small-group discussion. The questions cover the ideas of the connection of the main character with the mythological character, the importance of Deal's background in the writing of the story, the connection of setting with the events, characterization, and conflict.
